About the Trains Plus Network

Trains Plus. This describes a philosophy. Because there should be more than “just” a locomotive with wheels on tracks!

Trains are sometimes seen as “too technical” — “too geeky” — or “a little boring”. It doesn’t have to be. Recreate journeys across vast prairies or steppes, zip to your destination faster than a (sometimes very unreliable) plane, or arrive relaxed on an overnight sleeper. And what about that castle, restaurant, or historical trail right next to the station?

Or maybe you are a rail professional, interested in rail developments in emerging economies such as China. Maybe you are a rail enthusiast, wondering if China still has formerly East German rolling stock on the rails. Or maybe you are a child or teenager, and wish to enrich your most exciting years with ideas on the ultimate railway getaway.

This is why the Trains Plus network exists. Made by a rail observer, commuter, pleasure traveller, advocate, and now specialist himself, David Feng, with over half a million kilometres completed by rail, metro, and tram systems across Europe, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas, it is a one-of-a-kind network with trains at the core, the heart, the centre of everything — plus anything related to them, be it tourism, passenger assistance, media content, or industry info.
